Easy Weight Loss Tips

Do you need some easy weight loss tips to follow? Do you want to reshape and lose stomach skin? This article is designed just for you!

Recently I have received emails from so many young women wanting advice on how to lose weight quickly. How to lose 70 lbs in 3 months, how to shed fat fast, how they can reshape their bodies and the list goes on…

This has prompted me to publicly share what has worked for me, and my girlfriends whether they want to lose stomach skin, lose weight fast (or slow) or totally reshape their body.

It will be just down-to-earth advice that has worked for me, worked for my girlfriends and may just work for you too!

Whenever the subject of body shape comes up when my girlfriends and I chat, there are some common things that seem to work for us all and then things that work on an individual level.

One thing we all agreed on was that fad diets work, BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, they are not sustainable. Most people we know put on more weight over time in the “maintenance” phases.

That’s why a common sense approach is needed and the ONLY way it works LONG term to reshape, lose stomach skin or lose weight easily is to change our habits.

Which ties in perfectly with the first of our easy weight loss tips

Easy Weight Loss Tips #1 – Have the Right Mindset

Unless you have made the decision that you are going to do this (lose stomach skin, reshape, lose weight, etc) no matter what, it won’t work for you!

This just doesn’t mean for easy weight loss in particular, it means for everything in life! Unless you are 100% committed you might as well not start at all.

If you are thinking to yourself that you are almost there, say around 90% of they way there, here  is a technique you can use to help yourself there. Do this every day for 21 days and you’ve now developed a new habit.

What is Visualizing?

Visualizing allows your mind and body to respond to your wishes. It’s kind of a sneaky way to trick your brain into thinking you are really doing this thing.

Your brain doesn’t actually know the difference between the real thing and the imagine thing anyway so think of how you want to look, feel how you want to feel when you look how you want to look.

Visualize the clothes you will wear, the confidence you will feel, the things that you will do as you will look and feel better than you have in such a long time.

This only need take a few minutes in the morning; it will set the tone for your day, put a spring in your step and watch a great day unfold right in front of you!

*Bonus Easy Weight Loss Tips – If you want to speed things up repeat your visualization just before you go to sleep, it will accelerate all those good feelings, which will lead to where it is you want to be and how you want to look.

Easy Weight Loss Tips #2 – Have a Plan

By plan I mean to write down exactly what you want and what you are prepared to do about it. Spend some times on this Find a place where you know you can relax and let your mind daydream.

Do you want to drop a dress size of two? One of my girlfriends NEVER weighs or measures herself as she knows how she wants to look and feel, what clothes she wants to wear and this is what works for her.

Do you want to see a certain shape in the mirror? Do you want to see a certain number on the scales? Do you have a favourite pair of jeans you want to fit into?

Whatever it is for you think about exactly what you want and then write it down.

Writing anything we want down on paper (not typing on a computer!) send a message to our brain that we are serious.

Have you ever written a shopping list, arrived at the supermarket only to find you have left your list at home? And then remembered most of the items on your list anyway?

*Bonus Easy Weight Loss Tips – Magic happens when you grab a pen and write what you want down! Take it a step further and start a journal. Perhaps even treat yourself and good to an adult toy shop (not that type of toy shop) commonly known as a Stationary Store, they seem to be popping up everywhere at the moment!

Easy Weight Loss Tips #3 – Log Your Daily Food & Drinks

Carrying on with the magic that happens when we write things down, write everything down that you eat and drink, make it a MUST. You are committed to this, right?

Two things will happen here;

  1. Your awareness grows to exactly what passes your lips
  2. When you MUST write it down, that candy or pkt of chips will be less tempting!

Writing things down will also hold you accountable to yourself, increase your self-discipline, increase your feelings of empowerment, increase your inspiration for yourself, which is most important.

Easy Weight Loss Tips #4 – Drink Water

Only drink water, cut out ALL other soda’s, vitamins drinks, energy drinks, fruit juices, and whatever else these clever companies do to mask the fact that all these types of drinks are just loaded with sugar and chemicals.

Sugar and chemicals not only hold empty calories, have no nutritional value are toxic to our bodies, increasing the chances of creating diabetes and other diseases within our bodies.

Apart from water it’s perfectly OK to drink herbal teas, hot water with fresh lemon and green tea as it does increase your metabolisms. More easy weight loss tips here when you read the post about Weight Loss Drinks that actually Work here.
