Day 2 of the 3 week weight loss course – Weight Loss Assessment Day!
You need to assess the way you currently think and feel so that if there is any negative behavior, you can work to change it. Don’t worry, tomorrow’s subject will help you do this!
Assignment: Copy the following questions down in your weight loss journal and answer them. Be 100% honest with yourself or this assessment means nothing. These are True or False questions.
1. My family history makes it much harder for me to lose weight.
2. When I am dieting and working out, I get mad if I don’t see results on the scale.
3. I am not happy simply because I am overweight.
4. I sometimes find myself hating people smaller than me.
5. When I’m on a diet, I can’t wait until I’m done so I can eat what I enjoy.
6. If I miss a couple of days working out, I feel awful so I give up.
7. I have to eat when I’m stressed.
8. It is hard to lose weight and still have time for my friends.
9. Exercise is not fun for me.
10. Being healthy is not fun for me.
11. If I don’t reach my weekly goal weight, I feel disheartened and want to give up.
12. No matter what I do, I always fall back into my old habits.
13. Once I lose weight, I do not need to keep eating healthy or exercising.
14. I only make one weight loss goal and won’t be happy until I reach it.
15. Dieting makes me grumpy.
16. I make goals I know I cannot reach when it comes to weight loss.
17. I think I’m ugly because I’m overweight.
