Weight loss can be hard, we all know that. I know that to lose weight I need to exercise. It’s inevitable. There’s no jumping around this fact. You can only go so far in your weight loss efforts by dieting and eating right. Adding these top fat burning exercises to your routine will help you drop pounds and reach your goals. You must make these exercises a habit to maintain your weight loss. This is very important and trust me, once you start regularly, you will want to do these daily.

Walking. Walking is one of the best fat burning exercises you can do. It’s also a great starter exercise that can lead up to jogging and running. Make it a goal to walk at least 30 minutes a day EVERY DAY. Walk in your neighborhood, on the treadmill, around your yard, at the mall, wherever you can find that works for you. Every week, add 5 or 10 minutes to your walking time and you will literally walk the pounds away.
Running. As I said above, start off walking and then work your way to running. The best thing you can do for your body is to run at least 3 times a week. Start out doing a run/walk routine. Run for 30 seconds and walk for 1 minute. Do this for 20 minutes. Then increase your running to a minute and walk for 30 seconds. Do this until you can run the entire time. Your body will thank you and your fat will go bye bye.
Dancing. I dance all the time. If I’m doing my housework, walking the dog, or have a few minutes of boredom, I’m dancing. I attribute my weight loss success to literally dancing my butt off. Put on some of your favorite tunes and dance for 30 minutes a day. You can do this in addition to walking/running or you can do this instead. I also use my kinect for my Xbox and dance with Michael Jackson and the Black Eyed Peas. Make dancing a habit because this activity is my favorite of the top fat burning exercises.
Swimming. When I say swimming, I’m not talking about lounging in the pool on a float with a cocktail. I know that’s fun but it doesn’t help your thighs at all (I know, I’ve tried). Lap swimming and water aerobics are the swimming I’m referring to. The resistance of the water and the fact that you are using your entire body make this a fat busting workout by far. Many gyms and YMCAs have swimming pools you can use to do some lap swimming a few times a week.
Jumping Rope. Jumping rope for 20 minutes can burn 250 calories! I love to jump rope. It takes me back to my middle school days when jump rope tricks were all the rave. I set a timer, get my jump rope, put on some fun upbeat music and go to town. Push yourself to finish the entire 20 minutes and your love handles will hate you. But so what? They don’t really love you at all, I promise.
Try these top fat burning exercises and you will be on your way to your weight loss goals in a flash. What is your favorite fat blasting workout?

I love dancing! My left knee doesn’t let me run (at least not for long or often), though.
